Terms and Conditions
Appointments are always subject to tutor availability. Specific tutor
requests will be honored on a first-come first-served basis.
Appointment cancellations by clients must be rescheduled
according to tutor availability, and may require a substitute tutor
based on prior scheduling commitments.
Proctored Diagnostic Tests are given at specific times and places; make
up times and dates are not guaranteed. Alternate arrangements may be
coordinated with A-List, although students are always permitted to take
exams at home. (Note: Sitting for full-length proctored tests is
important preparation for the SAT, and students who practice exams
generally outperform those who do not.)
For those who book a package and pay weekly, A-List reserves
the right to bill clients for Diagnostic Tests ($25/each) if they fail
to complete at least 75% of the scheduled sessions.
Package bookings guarantee a fixed price for the length of commitment.
Single session prices (without a package booking) may be
subject to change. A-List will advise clients of such changes at least
4 weeks before the new prices are to take effect.
Refunds/Exchanges
A-List wants to see every one of its customers extremely satisfied, so
if you ever experience an issue with our services, please contact us
immediately at 646.216.9187.
When a client commits to a package, such a commitment requires
a "good faith" effort on the part of the client to meet for the
specified number of sessions. We understand, however, that life does
not always unfold exactly as planned. If a client pays in advance and
is unable to meet with A-List for the agreed upon number of sessions,
A-List shall issue a prorated refund in accordance with the published
fee schedules above.
Free sessions may not be exchanged for their equivalent cash value.
